I make art to channel my creative energy- I create daily when I have moments of deep inspiration. I aim to create art that is beautiful and authentic as a form of true personal expression. Nearly all of my work is based on photos I’ve taken, and my subject matter is deeply personal, including family, places I’ve lived, and sentimental objects I love. I am drawn to detailed work, thriving on organized mess in my art, because it feels intimate and candid. From an early age, I have been inspired by Kandinsky prints in my home- I loved the colors and shapes- and by Marc Chagall paintings I learned about in school. Many of my works focus on windows in places that have shaped me, nostalgically exploring how windows allow for both inside and outside to exist as one. My art grows with me as I explore new mediums and styles- I upload and make new prints as I create more work, and I share new pieces through my portfolio- come back soon & check in!
